Alica Webb graduated from the University of Memphis in 2002 and began her career in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, where she worked for four years. She then attended graduate school at Vanderbilt University, earning her Master’s in Nursing in 2006. Alica loves working in pediatrics because it allows her to care for others while emphasizing parenting skills. As a parent herself, she believes pediatrics is a good combination of parenting and medicine, where empathy and communication play crucial roles in her practice. She appreciates all aspects of pediatrics, as it is ever-chang. Whether she is working in preventive care, chronic care, or advocating for a child's health, she knows Pediatricians can make a meaningful difference in each child's life.
Alica has developed a strong passion for working with infants and new families, focusing on educating new mothers on feeding, including nursing and bottle feeding. Additionally, she enjoys supporting school-aged children with ADHD, helping them navigate their unique challenges.
Outside of working in Pediatric care, Alicia enjoys traveling with her family, and rooting for her 3 boys at their sporting events!
