Biography

Sarah grew up in the middle TN area. She got her Bachelor's degree in Economics from Vanderbilt in 2013, then stayed there to obtain her Master's of Science in Nursing in 2015. Following graduation, she moved to Washington, D.C., where she practiced for the 9 years. In 2024, she relocated to Franklin to be closer to her family. Sarah is an adjunct professor with Vanderbilt University's Nursing School, where she also shares her time as a precept to new NP students. She enjoys giving back to the community in this way to help train the next generation of practitioners.

Sarah believes in a holistic approach to health, and works collaboratively with parents to promote well being in the pediatric population. Her favorite thing about primary care is the relationships built through years of building trust with families. Sarah believes that early and consistent primary care can help shape a child's healthy habits for life. She desires to establish a trusting partnership with parents and children to help them navigate life's healthy and sick seasons.

Areas of Notable Expertise and Interest

Along with general pediatrics, Sarah has a particular interest in helping children with Asthma. She became a trained Asthma educator in 2016 and has enjoyed helping families navigate and prevent breathing difficulties.

Hobbies & Interests

In her free time, Sarah enjoys hiking with her husband and dogs, playing with her young children, watching live music, and attending the occasional Predators game.
